What is the IFoT?

The Annual Innisfail Festival of Trees is a free event dedicated to uniting the community in the spirit of giving and charity. Since 2020, we have raised over $25,000 to donate to local charities, significantly impacting families in need during the holiday season.

As times have become tougher, we have observed a growing need within our community year after year. To address this, during our February 2025 board meeting, we decided to expand our mission to provide support throughout the entire year. We will host events and partner with other organizations to raise funds that will benefit our community.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce that we will, in the near future, accept requests for assistance from local organizations, with more details to follow.

Why?

The holiday season is a time for giving for family and friends. It is a time of love, inclusion, and coming together, regardless of background.

The Christmas Tree symbolizes the giving spirit.  This is the essence of The Festival of Trees – it is to give.

This event creates hope for a better and stronger tomorrow by strengthening our community with compassion, kindness, and love.

We are glad that over the past three years, the Innisfail Festival of Trees has become a tradition for the town of Innisfail and its surrounding area, like many of the holiday traditions held by the families that make up this community.

Where?

This 5-day event takes place at the Innisfail Library & Learning Centre Common Area

Get your merry brood together and come see the dazzling display of festive Christmas Trees decorated by our community members.

Funds Raised

Funds raised through the Festival of Trees will go to support the Innisfail Christmas Bureau, Innisfail Food Bank as well as helping fund and spotlight other local charities and programs focused on families, children and seniors.

2024 was a tremendous success, and we donated over $8500.
