The 4th Annual

Innisfail Festival of Trees

NOV 22 - NOV 30

What is the IFoT?

The Annual Innisfail Festival of Trees is a free event focused on bringing the community together to cherish a time of giving and charity. Over the last three years, we have raised thousands of dollars to donate to local charities that help families in need during the holiday season and support the community throughout the year.

Why?

The holiday season is a time for giving for family and friends. It is a time of love, inclusion, and coming together, regardless of background.

The Christmas Tree symbolizes the giving spirit.  This is the essence of The Festival of Trees – it is to give.

This event creates hope for a better and stronger tomorrow by strengthening our community with compassion, kindness, and love.

We are glad that over the past three years, the Innisfail Festival of Trees has become a tradition for the town of Innisfail and its surrounding area, like many of the holiday traditions held by the families that make up this community.

When?

Tree Viewing: Friday, November 21 to Saturday, November 30

Runs for 8-day so go once, go twice, go and see the trees all 8 days. And remember to:

  • Get your 50/50 tickets
  • Join in Rudolph’s Raffle
  • Vote for your favourite tree(s)
  • And place a bid for the auction

Holiday Market: Saturday, November 30 | 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Be sure to take in all the goodies this market has to offer:

  • Artisan vendors and crafters
  • Kids Zone
  • And so much more

Where?

This 8-day event takes place at the Innisfail Library & Learning Centre Common Area

Get your merry brood together and come see the dazzling display of festive Christmas Trees decorated by our community members.

Funds Raised

Funds raised through the Festival of Trees will go to support the Christmas Bureau, Innisfail Food Bank as well as helping fund and spotlight other local charities and programs focused on families, children and seniors.

2023 was a tremendous success, and we donated over $9000. Given the increasing need in our community, our goal is to surpass that amount and donate over $11,000 this year.
